Juventus are set to sign 33-year-old Barcelona
right-back Dani Alves on a free transfer.
The Brazil international has a clause allowing him
to leave for free before 5 June.
Juve director general Giuseppe
Marotta said, as quoted in Spanish
newspaper Marca "I
can confirm that talks with Dani Alves are going well and that we're satisfied
with them.
"Negotiations are at a very advanced stage, and
we're very optimistic."
The Italian champions also want to sign 31-year-old
centre-back Javier Mascherano from Barcelona.
But Marotta said: "We are talking about
incorporating Mascherano, but those negotiations are a bit more complicated."
