Donald Trump: A Risk not worth Taking- De Exponent.

The run up to America's 2016 Presidential election has been very dramatic and surprising. It has witness the emergence of  two very surprising and unlikely candidates. The two candidates were unlikely majorly on the basis of gender and belligerent personality. Basically Hillary Clinton's personality was surprising on gender basis as it was unbelievable that a woman can emerge to be a front runner of a ruling political party in a powerful nation like the United States. On the other hand the politically infamous Donald Trump as a result of his belligerent nature was not anticipated by many people that he can become a front runner candidates with a high probability of becoming the President of United States. However , this article seeks to examine the candidacy of Donald Trump and expatiate on the reasons why he is such a great risk for the United States.

Donald Trump was born on the 14 of June 1946 in New York City and he was fourth out of five children of Marry Anne and Fred Trump. His father was an immigrant from Germany while his mother came to United States from Scottish Island of  Lewis and Harris. His father was a real estate developer who enjoyed much fortune during his lifetime.

Since his graduation in 1968, he has been a business man. At age 23 he made an unsuccessful foray into show business, investing $70,000 to become co-producer of the 1970 Broadway comedy "Paris Is Out!", which flopped. Trump began his real estate career at his father's company, Elizabeth Trump and Son, which focused on middle-class rental housing in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. During his undergraduate study, one of Trump's first projects had been the revitalization of the foreclosed Swifton Village apartment complex in Cincinnati, Ohio, which his father had purchased for $5.7 million in 1962. While he has been a business man for most part of his life he has partially been involve in political activities via the republican political party. For instance from 1982 to 2012, he had the idea of runing for president thrice in 1998. 2004 and 2012 and for Gorvernor of New-York in 2006 and 2014. However, he did not enter any of those races.Recently,Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2016 election at the Trump Tower in New York City with the slogan "Make America Great Again!" in June 2015.As a result of this, he has gained widespread support for the idea that he and his supporters call "telling it like it is," with a significant disdain for political correctness.

While it is not wrong to tell the truth as it his , the following image will be used to explain why Trump is such a risk that is not worth taking for the Americans. 

In several of his campaigns, he has been emphasizing that he will make America great again. While this claim is not internally faulty, his racist approach is a fault line that America as a great nation cannot afford in its dealing with the rest of the World. Such a statement has the capability to damage America’s great reputation that has been built since the days of George Washington. In addition to this, he has also been emphatic on religious discrimination, without consideration for the present acts of terrorism that is prevalent in every part of the world of including America which is not immune from such attacks.  Importantly, racial discrimination from our knowledge of history has not done any good to any group of people in the past. Instead, it has brought about high level of destruction of lives and property in the affected countries. In this modern era, it is very disappointing that it is in nation like United States that a Presidential aspirant is engaging in act of barbarism like racism.

Furthermore, his proposal on mass deportation  and wearing of special identity cards by muslims is another major problem of his campaign promises. For somebody who is a son of an immigrant, proposing to deport people for no major offenses shows how dictatorial and discriminatory Donald Trump will be, if he becomes the  President of America. For a country that believes in freedom and Liberty of man, Donald trump will be a collective stain and restriction on such believes. The world today is ridden with too many violent clashes between states and within states, as well as sub-state actors. To now have a dictator from the United States will just worsen the global level of insecurity. It is on this basis, that I conclude that, for domestic and external reason, Donald Trump is a risk that American should not take. Though he has been promising to make America great again, but he will actually make America to fall the more.
