The veteran Frenchman who recently announced
his step down at the club has predicts that his side will be in for a more
successful 2018-19 campaign. According to him, Arsenal will challenge for the
Premier League title next season. The Gunners find themselves 37 points behind
league leaders Manchester City, after a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester on Wednesday,
continuing a trend of poor away performances that see them ranked 16th in the
league in terms of their away form. They have also conceded more goals this season than ever before in the Premier League
era. Wenger, who will leave the club at the end of the season,
believes that his successor will be able to make a few minor tweaks to get
more out of the Emirates side on their travels.
